On September 29th, 2017, Clarence Lee Trentman, founder and CEO of Interstate Sales and T-Man Traffic Supply INC passed away. He was 85 years old. Since 1958, Mr. Trentman was actively involved in the road marking and maintenance industry. He established Interstate Sales of Auburn, CA in 1969, T-Man Traffic Supply of El Cajon CA in 2012, and was actively involved in their daily affairs until his passing. His insightful leadership, compassion, quick wit, and concern for his family, employees, and business associates will be his legacy. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
Mike , Lee’s son, is still learning the ropes here at Interstate. He keeps great people around him, and let’s them do all the heavy lifting and thinking. Full time since 1990 and part time since 1979, Mike enjoys coming to the office and watching "Team Interstate" do their thing. Replacing someone who’s been at Interstate since the Carter Administration can be a challenge, but Julie has taken it on and has her head around the myriad of product lines available to help you. Ed is "The Keeper Of All Things Inventory". He keeps our warehouse precise and organized, polished down to the last washer. Without Ed, the effectiveness of our team would fall apart. Thomas accounts for half of our delivery team. Thomas seamlessly came aboard and has picked up all the slack within our shipping department like he had been there for ages.
Kevin makes up the other half of our delivery team. Logging countless hours on the road to get your shipments to you on time.
Valerie is the newest addition of the Interstate Sales Team. She has been an outside Sales Rep in the traffic industry for 15 years. Some may remember her, as she had worked for Interstate Sales from 1996 to 2005. This is a happy return for the company. Valerie can be reached here.
